The senko like mentioned is a pretty good choice. Fishing from the bank I like staying away from the deeper diving baits like crankbaits, it’s a hassle to keep the bait from getting caught up on moss and any debri on the bottom. You can throw baits like texas rigged plastics, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, and suspending baits and have a lot of luck.

Most lures that work from a boat will work from the bank also. I have best luck with a weight-less, Texas rigged, 4″, white/silver w/ flakes, Senko or Dinger. Sight fish with these. Spot a bass and through the lure right at it’s nose and let it fall. You can wacky rig these also. You can also cast out and retrieve a spinnerbait. Lots of lures will work for bank fishin’!

on either a sespending rapala minnow or a 4 inch watermelon colared gary yamamoto senko rig it either weedless or wakey style you can cast the senko a mile let it go to the bottom then twitch it a bit then let it go to the bottom again and repete the procces with the rapala minnow their are so many ways to fish it you are bound to find a way that works for you my favorite its to twitch it acouple of time and then let it suspened then do it again it looks like a injured minnow in the water but just find what works for you good luck and good fishing

I have had a lot of luck lately with a mini shallow diving crankbait. I toss it along an underwater dropoff and let the fun begin. The most important thing is a fairly slow retrieval.

I have a lot of luck with jerk bait. Specifically, “watermellon seed: colored worms.
