What Would Be A Good Lure / Bait To Use While Riverfishing For Trout?

What would be a good lure, bait to use while riverfishing for trout? besides fly fishing tackle. cause im heading to the bait store then going fishing

    Make sure the river you’ll be fishing has no ‘live-bait’ restrictions. As for lures – I always use a 1/16 (or so) rooster tail. They’re pretty cheap so buy a few different patterns and some light line.

    I would buy some live minnows or salted ones. You can also catch some crayfish as browns love those but smaller ones. Crawlers work also. I use a wide assortment of Rapalas obviously if you look at my name, lol.

    I have always used rubber crayfish, smaller the better.

    i would use a worm or live bait. like a red fin shiner or smelt. be careful not to cast them off though

    i would use a plastic worm while usins a bobber rig
