i bought this item as agift for my husband. he seemed to like it. it fits together and takes apart very well. i like the size as it can fit in carryon or checked luggage. and this is the only reel and rod set i found with a soft zippered case. very nice

This rod and reel combo is a good buy for the budget minded. The carrying case is nice too.

I bought this fishing pole for my son,but

Warning Sticker read

“This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm etc”

So,I return the product to amazon….I would not recomend product contain Lead Paint on fishing rod…

I purchased this item as a gift. But unfortunately when I received it, it did not arrive with any spool of fishing line. The product description states that it will arrive with one spool of fishing line and a extra 110yd spool, but I received neither. I emailed the seller which was not amazon, which surprised me, and they simply responded telling me that I should just return the item to them. I thought it was a great gift just don’t expect to receive any fishing line at all.

I’ve ordered this for someone as a gift and have not presented it to them yet. What I can say about this item is that it arrived on time with all contents inside.
